Sound quality

Due to the fact that the speaker utilises a “standard” upward firing speaker and the directionality is provided by the reflection off the hemispheric dome, the sound quality encompasses a greater frequency response than other technologies.

Optional upgrades

The sound domes can be specified with a variety of upgrades such as Smart Volume – where the speaker monitors the ambient sound and adjusts the output accordingly. Also available is an inbuilt microphone to allow the dome speaker to be used as a video conferencing module

Installation options

The domes can be hung from any height with steel wire and Gripple kits and due to their low weight can be added to many lighting trusses etc. Alternatively there are floor, wall and ceiling mounts available or any custom mounts can be put together quite simply.

Separate amplifier

As the dome speakers are passive, the small Class D amplifier can be hidden away easily and just requires one cable to be run to the speaker itself through the central dome mount
